Technical Game Designer (Unreal Engine)
Description
The Dynasty design team is tackling challenges on the cutting-edge of game design. From impeccable moment-to-moment combat to massive multiplayer economies, we believe in innovation and improvement. Led by our gameplay-first principles, we are driven to craft bold new experiences that bring players' wildest dreams to life. Dynasty Studios is looking for talented game designers experienced in Unreal and passionate about the multiplayer action/shooter genre. You will be part of a highly collaborative design team dealing with novel technical and philosophical design challenges. You will be asked to consider radical new ideas while always prioritizing gameplay and the player experience.
Responsibilities
- •Collaborate with the design team to build mechanics, content, or systems depending on individual areas of focus
- •Coordinate with team members of all disciplines in an iterative and agile environment
- •Work with Unreal Blueprints daily to achieve the gameplay vision
- •Support the studio by sharing your Unreal expertise with other team members
Qualifications
- •3+ years of video game industry experience working with Unreal Blueprints
- •Experience as a designer or engineer on a 3rd person shooter
- •Extensive action/shooter genre knowledge and the ability to share that information
- •Self-motivated to learn the latest and greatest Unreal techniques
- •Reliable task estimation and time management skills
- •Excellent communication & documentation skills

Lead Game Programmer (Unreal Engine)
Description
Joining as our new Lead Game Programmer, you will be the pivot point on making the team excel, managing risks, and becoming a force multiplier for the gameplay group. As we step forward in the development process as an Unreal Engine focused studio, we're excited to be transitioning our teams to the latest in UE5 technology. You will be a skilled and passionate developer who is willing to drive this transition forward.
Responsibilities
- •Implementing a clear technical direction and creating best practices within your team
- •Forecasting risks and blockers early and setting clear protocols for removing them
- •Working alongside other departments and providing feedback to other areas
- •Working closely with project leaders to plan long-term road maps and improve development processes
- •Create clear, maintainable, and scalable code
- •Mentoring and developing growth within your team and possessing a "team-first" mentality
Qualifications
- •Proficient knowledge of C++
- •Superb knowledge of game-related 3D maths principles
- •Previous experience of leading a gameplay development team
- •Implementing gameplay features from inception to delivery
- •Working in all phases of game development, from design to planning and creating roadmaps, implementation, and bug-fixing
- •Knowledgeable in debugging
- •Has knowledge and experience driving an agile methodology within a team

Gameplay Programmer (Unreal Engine)
Description
You'll be responsible for the implementation of gameplay features based on the design document. A critical part of the role will be to work closely with the design department and report to our technical director. You'll be engineering brand-new features from basic prototypes to the final stages of development. Creativity will play a key part in the role as you'll be creating realistic and expressive characters, innovative game mechanics, and smooth, responsive systems for our unannounced project.
Responsibilities
- •Write robust and maintainable code
- •Solve problems through the application of sound software engineering principles
- •Work closely together with the other departments to implement the game requirements
- •Actively participating in the design and production of the game
- •Ensure flawless and robust game performance across different platforms

Network Programmer
Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our studio as our new Network Programmer and help us build real-time networked systems. We hope to find someone who will be eager to work with designers and programmers to implement key game features from conception to live deployment. You will own and implement technical delivery of aspects of our networked solutions. We are looking for candidates at all seniority levels.
Responsibilities
- •Support gameplay programmers to make sure all implemented features work well in a multiplayer game
- •Automate the deployment of the game server and implement tools to automate the game deployment process
- •Prepare the game architecture so we can release constant content and event updates to the game
- •Working closely together with the other departments to implement the needed game requirements
- •Actively participating in the design and production of the game
- •Write secure, robust and maintainable code
- •Knowledge of the Unreal ecosystem is appreciated
