As one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world, Istanbul boasts a very rich cultural and historical heritage. Religious sites such as mosques, churches and synagogues are evidence to the variety of cultures that have influenced the city in the past.

Even though it has been the site of significant urban development, Istanbul still maintains a good portion of the natural beauty it was historically known for, with an emphasis on making the city greener in recent years. If you feel the need to get more of nature, a short car or bus ride will allow you to find yourself in lush forests, very close to the city centers.​

Turkey is very proud of its gastronomy, with centuries of history and traditions shaping iconic dishes and tastes. Istanbul is a great representation of the rich selection of traditional Turkish and Ottoman cuisines as well as more modern innovations and world cuisine. There are many options to choose from no matter what you are looking for.​

Transportation

Although traffic can be a heated challenge during rush hour, public transportation has developed significantly in the last decade and provides a vast network of boats, subways, buses, minibuses, trams and funiculars to residents and visitors. City centers and neighborhoods can easily also be explored on foot, bike or scooter.

The office is in close proximity to Istanbul’s top-rated restaurants, cafes, and urban neighborhoods such as Besiktas and Beyoglu, home to many important historical landmarks, museums, and bars.
