What is your role at Dynasty Studios?
I am the Combat Designer at Dynasty Studios. I design and prototype both player and enemy actions and capabilities. I also work on AI behaviors to create more immersive interactions. My main goal is creating memorable experiences with meaningful choices for the player, using fun and challenging gameplay mechanics.
What do you like best about working at Dynasty Studios?
Everyone is very supportive and easy to work with. I really feel like being part of a larger team, working together with others to achieve a common goal.
It is customary and encouraged to share feedback and ideas freely by anyone to make any part of the project better, everyone’s voice gets heard.
What do you think sets Dynasty Studios apart from other game companies?
We are not afraid to innovate as we push forwards into the cutting edge of new technologies. There are many cheap ways to make game design and blockchain technologies meet but we are walking a different path.
What’s your favorite video game and why?
UFO: Enemy Unknown, the original X-Com is the best game ever made PERIOD. No game has a better atmosphere, immersion and rollercoaster of all sorts of emotions. Also let’s not forget the dreadful combat music.
What’s your favorite board game?
I have a few. Twilight Imperium, Battlestar Galactica and Cosmic Encounter are my highlights. I guess I enjoy space adventures with a pinch of back stabbing.
What’s your favorite franchise?
Alien is my favorite franchise. It had its ups and downs with the movies lately but the books are amazing especially anything including the Predator as well. Hope we get a new movie that does them justice.
