Get Lead Blockchain Strategist Burcin’s insight over Dynasty’s role in the future of gaming
Through a series of interesting interview questions both inside and outside of gaming, the Devs at Dynasty articles give our fans a unique look into individuals working at Dynasty Studios.
What is your role at Dynasty Studios?
As the Lead Blockchain Strategist, I am heavily focused on the blockchain aspect of everything. In a nutshell, I facilitate the team to incorporate the decentralized future of gaming and make sure that we are moving forward in the right direction both on a technical & conceptual level.
What do you like best about working at Dynasty Studios?
What I like the most about working at Dynasty is that anyone can contribute their ideas to the project without the typical boundaries. As a part of our culture, new ideas, new skills, and different perspectives are always welcomed. Great opportunity for everyone to learn and grow themselves, especially now, while working on a groundbreaking project.
What do you think sets Dynasty Studios apart from other game companies?
Dynasty Studios has the vision and courage to step up at the right time. I deeply value our vision of the decentralized future of gaming, and it is very exciting to see our products grow over time. I also greatly respect the courage our team has to start something original in every aspect.
What is the first video game you remember playing?
It was a long time ago, but my first PC game was Prince of Persia 2. I also remember playing Sensible World of Soccer for many long hours. I was in love with its game mechanics.
What is your favorite chess piece?
I would definitely pick the knight. It moves unconventionally compared to other pieces and has up to eight available moves at once. It can defend on one turn and do a fast-break attack on the other. Always multitasking, and full of surprises. You can have a lot of fun developing a strategy on how the knight moves.
Where do you want to visit next and why?
I am always inspired by visiting historical places around the world to observe and to understand better how different civilizations evolved throughout time. I still have a few more places on my shortlist, but probably my next target would be Gobeklitepe in southeastern Turkey. It is the first known temple structure dating 12,000 years back, which helped rewrite history between first settlements and religion.
