Do you know what it takes to build a strong company culture? Find it out in our interview with People and Culture Manager Doga.
What is your role at Dynasty Studios?
I am People and Culture Manager at Dynasty Studios, proud member of a team of four. Basically what I do is build the P&C function “from scratch”. My role focuses on building a strong culture while structuring operational processes to drive improvement in all business areas. As a team we have a roadmap to implement business-critical HR initiatives (e.g. Performance Management practices, employees professional development, engagement enhancement etc).
What do you like best about working at Dynasty Studios?
Of course people! We’re not a startup with no experience at all, rather a group of professionals who enjoy life and what we do. Thanks to our Talent Team, we have a broad community with brave people who have unique backgrounds. Which indeed comes with a creative space where ideas are floating all the time. That’s what I like best about here.
What do you think sets Dynasty Studios apart from other game companies?
At Dynasty, we believe in our project. We initiated something that was never there before and set our expectations really high. Dynasty is here to change the rules of gaming, and being part of it it’s extremely exciting.
What is the first game you remember playing?
I may not seem like it, but I am a game addict! I love playing different kinds of games on PC, Mobile and PS. The first game I remember playing is Super Mario Cart on Atari. Then I remember being amazed while watching my cousins playing Resident Evil (because I was not allowed to play). Predictably, I’m a fan of horror-survival games now. Welcoming suggestions all the time.
What is your favorite cookie/dessert/ice cream?
Here in P&C we love eating all types of sweets. If I had to (sadly) choose one, it would be Pastel de Nata, which is a crispy Portuguese dessert with cinnamon cream in it. I like it so much that I tried making it at home once with my mom. And I can say that its taste was 7.5/10. Not bad for a first timer! 🙂
Where were you born?
I was born in Antalya, in the southern part of Turkey. It’s a warm, beautiful city located on the coast. It’s one of those cities that you can easily fall in love with. With its old town, beaches, and deserted bays, it feels like a part of heaven.
