See how Sr. Marketing Artist Will finds inspiration and creates cutting-edge marketing assets at Dynasty.
Through a series of interesting interview questions both inside and outside of gaming, the Devs at Dynasty articles give our fans a unique look into individuals working at Dynasty Studios.
What is your role at Dynasty Studios?
I’m a senior marketing artist at Dynasty Studios. Generally, I create art-related marketing material for both social media and internal design requests from our colleagues. I work closely with the marketing director, social media manager, and senior community manager. In regards to the marketing side, I am always trying to improve the quality of our visual assets. I try to keep up with cutting-edge techniques to stay on top of design industry trends and create the best visual content to stand out from other gaming companies.
What do you like best about working at Dynasty Studios?
Creative freedom is one of the most rewarding aspects of working at Dynasty Studios for a designer/artist. The only limit is your own imagination. Part of my process is finding inspiration, experimenting with it, then getting feedback from colleagues. People here are happy to give you positive feedback and will be able to suggest ways for you to improve your design. That’s the most effective way to broaden your perspective and your horizon.
What do you think sets Dynasty Studios apart from other game companies?
Driven by our passion and energy, we create quality content and games built for gamers. We want to make a game you have never seen before with cutting-edge technology like blockchain. Our dev team’s enthusiasm is only getting stronger over time and eventually we will have a game everyone will be captivated by.
What is your favorite video game and why?
I’m kind of a beginner gamer, but my pick would be Elden Ring for sure. Elden Ring has a super unique experience compared to any of the games I played before. It’s the hardest game I’ve ever played (didn’t try Dark Souls before either). I have already spent over 120 hours enjoying everything like exploring, suffering, growing, and completing things. Finally at least I can say I became the Elden Lord!
What is the first game you remember playing?
It’s definitely Contra. I saw my father was playing it on a Famicon (FC) and I thought it looked really fun. Then I just tried it and my father never touched the FC again. I still remember the cheat code now. “Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A then Start” Boom! You get 30 extra lives. Enjoy!

There are approximately half a million pigeons in New York and I think they look quite cute and fun to watch in parks. However, when pigeons unexpectedly take off from the ground I can get terribly scared of them sometimes.
